How to grind the outer circle of the bonded stripper ring?

The outer circle of the bonded stripper ring must be ground with a large hole grinding wheel. But there are many tips when grinding the outer circle of the bonded stripper ring.
Generally speaking, the outer diameter of the male bonded stripper ring is 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm, or even 1 mm larger than the outer diameter of the slitter knife. When the slitter knife starts to be reground, the outer diameter of the male bonded stripper ring should also be reground, and this difference is always maintained in the outer diameter direction. However, the outer diameter of the female bonded stripper ring is different, and the slitting machine with too large thickness range is often equipped with several groups of bonded stripper rings with different outer diameters. Table 1 is an example. When the cutting thickness is from 0.3 to 3 mm, they have multiple groups of bonded stripper rings with different colors, that is, bonded stripper rings with different outer diameters, and they must be reground simultaneously to maintain the difference in the outer diameter direction. If the outer circle of the bonded stripper ring can be reground according to the progressive method in Table 1, the bonded stripper ring can reduce the number of grinding times and can still be used repeatedly. The reduction in the number of regrinding will greatly save manpower, material resources and production costs. If according to the traditional method, once the slitter knife is sent for grinding, each group of bonded stripper rings must be sent for grinding. In this example, there are four sets of male and female bonded stripper rings, so the regrinding fee for grinding the four sets of bonded stripper rings has to be paid. However, if following the progressive method in Table 1, only the male bonded stripper ring is reground, then only the regrinding fee for one set of bonded stripper rings will be paid.
