GOODKLIFE Grease Hydraulic Nut for slitter effectively locks all tools on the slitter shaft and retains pressure for a long period of time.

Installation

Ensure that the slitter shaft and hydraulic nut threads are clean and free of debris prior to operation. Rotate the nut in the direction of the thread until it comes into contact with the spacer. To facilitate subsequent disassembly, the hydraulic nut can be rotated in the opposite direction by about 15 degrees. Tighten the small grease drain screw and make sure the drain port is closed.

Clean the grease nipple and connect the grease pump, turn to close the grease pump relief valve. Slowly pressurise the grease pump to 20-30 MPa, then rotate the relief valve open and disconnect the grease pump once the pressure is zero. There is no need to worry about the hydraulic nuts to relieve pressure, as the special nipple prevents this from happening. The rigid shear system is now complete.

Removal

When it is necessary to remove the hydraulic nut, a clean cotton cloth should be used to place it over the drain hole and turn the small screw to open the drain port, so that the grease flows out and the pressure is relieved. Firstly, tighten the hydraulic nut in the direction of the thread until the pressure ring is completely reset, then rotate the hydraulic nut in the opposite direction until the nut is completely removed.
